Fashion has evolved a lot since 1984. In the book “Nineteen Eighty-Four” from George Orwell, all the men and women wore the same blue overall. Today, fashion is very versatile, and the choice is great. Likewise, we can wear what we want. But how is it in about 63 years (in the year 2084)?

In this project we will describe how the fashion of 1984 is described in the book “Nineteen Eighty-Four” from George Orwell, how fashion has evolved today and how it will develop by 2084.

Heating Source

We heat with a heat pump. Heat pumps extract natural energy from the earth, air or water and thus significantly reduce your heating costs.

Picture 1: Heat pump

Why is a heat pump worthwhile?

  • Independence
The heat pump makes you independent of fluctuating [1] oil or gas prices
  • Low heating costs
You save up to 75 % on fossil fuels
  • Flexibility
You can enjoy comfortable domestic heating [2] as well as optional hot water and domestic cooling [3], expand your heating system to a hybrid system and integrate other renewable energies if you wish.
  • Environmentally conscious
They produce up to 50% fewer emissions
  • Comfort
Heat pumps require less maintenance [4]

How does a heat pump work?

How much energy does a photovoltaics produce?

With sunlight the photovoltaic produces direct electricity. The generated direct electricity is converted to alternating electricity by the inverter. Through conversion, the alternating electricity can be fed directly into the public or privately used power grid, thus either reducing your own electricity costs. How much electricity does it produce on a normal day?

It is an important topic and a good way to save energy and to do something good for our environment. A good idea would be to install a photovoltaic system on every new building and so the electricity would be produced by itself.

Our idea would be to find out more about photovoltaics by interview people who has photovoltaics on their building.
